About TravelConcern

TravelConcern is a travel insurance agent in Karachi. We sell travel policies from two Pakistani insurers, The United Insurance Company of Pakistan (UIC) and Crescent Star Insurance, online to travellers from Pakistan. The insurer issues every policy in its own system, with your name and passport details on it.

Who runs TravelConcern

TravelConcern was founded by Muhammad Ali and is run by him from Karachi. Payments are currently received in an account titled “Muhammad Ali”, the founder’s own name, as our Terms and Conditions explain.

Which insurers issue your policy

Every policy we sell is issued by one of two insurers. Both are listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange.

TravelConcern is not an insurance company. The insurer issues your policy, gives you 24/7 emergency assistance and handles claims. You can see both insurers’ plans side by side on our comparison page.

How buying a policy works

  1. Get a quote. Enter your destination, travel dates and each traveller’s date of birth in the quote form. It shows the plans and prices from UIC and Crescent Star that fit your trip.
  2. Pay. Pay by bank transfer, EasyPaisa or JazzCash. We confirm each payment by hand before the insurer issues your policy.
  3. Get your policy. You receive the policy PDF by email, usually within 2–4 hours of payment confirmation on business days.
  4. Check it. Scan the QR code on the policy PDF, or enter your policy number and passport number on the insurer’s page: UIC policy verification or Crescent Star policy verification.

If your visa is refused

Send us the embassy’s refusal letter before your policy start date. We file the refund with the insurer for you and keep you updated on WhatsApp. The insurer keeps a small charge, as written in your policy terms. TravelConcern keeps nothing: you get back exactly what the insurer refunds.
